Head of Research Area IA (EU, Germany) at the Gdansk Institute for Market Economics, leading, private economic think-tank in Poland established in 1989. At the Institute since 1994, 1998-2005 Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Polish Embassy in Berlin, deputy head of economic-commercial section. 2006-2009 lecturer at the Academy of Law and Diplomacy (Gdynia), 2009 – Minister-Counsellor, Head of the Economic Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Berlin, IZA Policy Fellow (Bonn). At present a lecturer at Sopocka Szkoła Wyższa, Gdańsk University and at the Polish Institue of International Affairs. Long-standing experience as a member of supervisory boards of three Polish companies.

Numerous traineeships and research scholarships in Poland, Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom. 14-year experience as a lecturer and consultant for: Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of the Economy, Ministry of Regional Development, National Economy Committee of the Senate, Committee for European Integration, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Offices of the Marshal of Pomorskie and Zachodniopomorskie Voivodships.

Main areas of specialization include: Polish-German Economic Relations, Communication and Negotiations with EU-Partners, Economic and Business Diplomacy.
Author of several dozens of publications on FDI in Poland, investment attractiveness of the Polish regions, Polish-German economic relations, regional development. Publications also in Germany (Universität der Bundeswehr, Deutsches Polen Institut).

Secretary of the Supervisory Board of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone. Former member of the Supervisory Board of a four-star spa&wellness hotel.

Additional activities: IZA Policy Fellow (Bonn), research projects in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation, expert of the Commission of Public Finances of the Polish Senate.
